What is a Community Freedom Ministry?
Most Christians are stuck. Instead of living a life of grace, joy and freedom in Christ, they are weighed down. We were meant to be growing fruitful disciples but far too many of God’s people are deflated, defeated and discouraged. In essence, there is a missing ingredient in our understanding of the Christian life…a bridge between “salvation” and “maturity” in Christ that we have overlooked. And that bridge is freedom…in Christ. The Community Freedom Ministry exists to help Christians explore and identify what is keeping them from experiencing a joyful and free Christian walk.

Our Mission is:
To continue the Lord Jesus Christ’s ministry of setting captives free (Isaiah 61:1-3) so that God’s people can lay aside every burden and the sin that so easily entangles them, and so have the capacity to move forward into the maturity in Christ, running the race He has set before them (Hebrews 12:1-2)

The freedom presence consists of:
  • Teaching the message of freedom (Victory Over the Darkness and The Bondage Breaker)
  • Taking individuals through The Steps to Freedom in Christ in personal appointments (Freedom Appointment).
  • Training others to use The Steps to Freedom in Christ and minister to the bound and broken using these steps.
Who Does the CFM Minister To?
  • Those that are afflicted with the effects of sin in their lives and the consequences of sin committed against them. This can show itself in anger, bitterness, habitual sinful patterns (strongholds) and unforgiveness.
Those that are brokenhearted because of painful life experiences…resulting in depression, fear, anxiety and damaged and broken relationships.
  • Prisoners who are trapped in habits and addictions that they are incapable of escaping on their own. They are struggling with private sin and private shame, yearning to find help and hope, but suffering from private failure and private torment as the accuser of the brethren harasses them with condemning thoughts.
  • Those who are stuck or grown stagnant in their Christian walk, but are unsure of how or why.
  • All these areas of conflict and struggle often hinder a person’s ability to mature and enjoy God’s abundant life.

What is a Freedom Appointment?

For anyone who is not living the abundant life or experiencing a free and uninhibited relationship with God, the Freedom Appointment is a comprehensive overview comprised of seven critical areas that can surface between ourselves and God. The individual can explore, identify, and resolved what is affecting their intimacy with God, using The Steps to Freedom in Christ with a trained Encourager. The appointment can range from 3-6 hours, depending on the issues that surface.
