
SERVING OPPORTUNITIES AT GRACE
Each week, it takes over 300 Team Members at Grace Baptist Church to make what we do here possible. There are a multitude of ways that you can connect with us to serve our community and the people of Grace. You are uniquely gifted, and we have an opportunity just for you!

WELCOME TEAM
Help us provide a great first impression and experience to the many guests who attend Grace each week.
Campus Shepherd are loving servants willing to minister to the families at Grace by keeping a watchful eye on their property and assuring the safety of everyone on campus during our worship services and special events.
E.M.S. Team provides assessment, emergency treatment and spiritual comfort to those in need at Grace before, during or after a service or event.
Greeters are stationed at every entrance of our facility and receive joyfully all those arriving at one of our services or special events. They handout Sunday morning Grace Notes.
Parking Lot Greeters are stationed in the parking lot and with a smile, greet all those arriving at one of our services or special events.
Section Leaders assist people as they arrive to find a comfortable seat for their families as well as take up the offering.
Write Ministry Team writes guests and new members a note of encouragement and a brief testimony on how Grace has changed their life.
Campus Care Team keeps our campus looking great by helping with basic landscaping and mowing.
GRACE KIDS
This team creates an environment where children (birth-4th grade) are consistently shown the real love of Jesus. They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, videos, skits, small groups, greeting, games and more.
Group Leader – Guide children in age and stage appropriate activities, games, and Bible lessons using the provided curriculum to help them know God and find community.
Assistant Leader – Provide assistance in a class by helping the group leader with games, activities, and Bible lessons using the provided curriculum.
Kid’s Praise Leader – Lead children in worship through song, hand motions, or with an instrument during large group time and assist with Kid’s Praise choir rehearsals
Special Needs – Guide children with special needs in developmentally appropriate activities, games, and Bible lessons using the provided curriculum to help them know God and find community.
Greeter/Check-In – Welcome families with a smile and assist them with the check-in process, ensuring that each guest has excellent first impression and that all safety policies are followed.
Media Tech & Production – Work behind the scenes, operating the audio, visual, and lighting portions of large group to provide a seamless and excellent experience for preschoolers and children where God’s truth is clearly communicated.
Nursery– Care for infants and young toddlers by providing a safe, secure, and loving environment.
Host & Bible Storyteller – Communicate God’s truth to preschoolers or children in a large group setting using the provided scripts and curriculum. This person should be a dynamic communicator and storyteller.
GRACE 56
This team creates an environment for 5th and 6th grade to connect to Jesus. They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, small groups, greeting, games and more.
Small Group Leader/Co-Leader- Lead a small group each Sunday with our 5th and 6th grade students. Contact students throughout the week.
Greeter/Check-In – Welcome and greet students as they enter our doors and assist with check-in and provide information for students.
Large Group Host – Communicate God’s truth in a large group setting using the provided scripts and curriculum. This person should be a dynamic communicator.
Worship Team-Lead students in worship as vocals or instrumentalists. Audition required

GRACE STUDENTS
Join the team that is investing in students, through a weekly worship experience, Small Groups, events like Beach Camp and life-changing mission trips.
Small Group Leader/Co-Leader –Lead a small group each week with our High School or Middle School students. Contact students throughout the week.
Greeter/Check-In –Welcome and greet students as they enter our doors and assist with check-in and provide information for students.
Worship Team-Lead students in worship as vocals or instrumentalists. Audition required

GRACE COLLEGE
This team creates dynamic, life-changing worship experiences and small group atmospheres for ages 18-24.
Small Group Leader/Co-Leader – Lead a small group each Sunday with college students. Contact students throughout the week.
Greeter/Check-In– Welcome and greet students as they enter our doors and assist with check-in and provide information for students.
Worship Team-Lead in worship as vocals or instrumentalists. Audition required
Media Tech & Production –Work behind the scenes, operating the audio, visual, and lighting
GRACE WORSHIP
This team leads us into the presence of God each week. Opportunities are available to serve in the choir, band and orchestra.
Choir-The Grace Worship Choir is a group blessed with the privilege of leading our church in worship each week and ministering in other ways throughout the year, including special recordings, Easter, Christmas and other events. Membership in the choir is open to everyone, and there is no audition required.
Orchestra– Our Orchestra has the privilege of setting the tone for worship as it accompanies the choir and other vocalists each week.
Band– Our Band provides music for our Sunday services, and various special events. Audition is required.
GRACE MEDIA
Do you enjoy serving behind the scenes? Our Grace Media Team is a vital part of creating an atmosphere each week to connect people to God. Our team operate cameras, lights, screens, and sound to support the Gospel being presented on stage and to our online campus. We provide training for each position.
Camera Operator – Operate the cameras that help engage people in worship in the service and our live stream during our Sunday morning services. Experience not required. Training is provided.
Video Engineer – Responsible for shading cameras, and monitoring color balance. No experience required, training is provided.
Graphic/Prompter Operator – Displays song lyrics, sermon scriptures and other graphics on the screens for our services. Also responsible for displaying the song lyrics and notes for our Worship Leaders and Speakers during our services. We use Apple computers using ProPresenter as our platform. Some computer experience with presentation software is helpful but not required. Training is provided.
Stage Manager – Responsible for all stage transitions that happen on stage during our services. The Stage Manager oversees moving props, visual aids, staging, microphones, etc. into place on stage during our services and special events. No experience required.
Broadcast Audio Engineer for Worship Services – Responsible for mixing the audio feed going to our online stream during the service. Previous studio or live audio experience is required.
Lighting Tech– The Lighting Tech prepares and operates the equipment used to light both the stage and the auditorium on Sundays. They focus on illuminating properly, creating atmosphere, and focusing attention. Previous experience is preferred; additional training is provided.
Audio Tech-The Audio Tech is responsible for the set-up, monitoring, and adjustment of all auditorium audio equipment. Their role is to support the band, speaker, and all on-stage personnel as they lead or communicate to the audience. Previous experience is preferred; additional training is provided.
Set Construction-Do you enjoy creating and building things? Whether it’s for one of our Sunday worship experiences or special events (such as: Christmas, Easter etc.), you can be a part of creating an effective atmosphere to connect people to God. Carpentry and/or painting skills needed
PRAYER AND CARE TEAM
This team covers the weekend services in prayer, preparing the way for the Lord. Join this team that is blazing the trail for God in our city!
Prayer Partners-Volunteer their time to pray for those in need through prayer requests, Corporate Prayer List and Prayer Website.
Altar Counselors-Serve as a counselor to those who respond to the invitation made by the minister. Training is provided.
Baptism Team-Assist with baptism set up and baptisms on Sunday.
Hugs Ministry – Handcrafting quilts for those going through a crisis
SERVE WITH GRACE GO
