Our Special Needs Ministry—we like to call it “Special Friends”—is a Christ-centered environment with a person-centered emphasis that enables families to focus on the entire family’s spiritual growth.  At Grace, we view special needs as a different ability, rather than a disability.

If you are interested in this ministry, please contact us and we will work with you to develop an individualized discipleship plan that will best meet the needs of your child. We desire that all children benefit from the worship experience. So, whether in a large-group or small-group setting, your child will enjoy the fellowship of a specially trained volunteer to serve as a buddy guiding them through exciting discipleship activities. In addition, we also offer a Grace Space sensory-sensitive classroom for children who function better in a specialized setting.

Volunteer with Special Friends

The volunteers in Special Friends are the heart of the entire ministry! You bring a willing heart, we provide the training and together, we can serve all the kids, teens, and adults with special needs in our church as well as their families.
