Parenting Essentials – Dr. Matt Harrison – B-317

This eight-week course explores the biblical foundations of parenting, with a special focus on reaching your child’s heart, effective teaching and training, Christ-centered communication, and loving discipline. Whether you’re parenting toddlers, teens, or somewhere in between, this course offers practical, gospel-rooted guidance. Open to couples, single parents, grandparents, and anyone involved in raising the next generation. 

 

Sacred Marriage: What if God Designed Marriage to Make Us Holy More Than to Make Us Happy? – Jeff McElroy – B-301

Your marriage is much more than a union between you and your spouse. It’s a spiritual discipline ideally suited to help you know God more fully and intimately. Sacred Marriage shifts the focus from marital enrichment to spiritual enrichment in ways that can help you love your mate more. A two-semester orderly study of the doctrines of Christianity from creation to culmination.  For men and women of any age.   

 

Our Blessed Hope: An End-Times Study of God’s Plan for His Church – Dr. Loren Bonds- B-101

From Genesis through Revelation a study of God’s plan to restore Eden.   

Why did God create? What was He doing—and why? Why did Jesus go to the cross, and what did His death and resurrection accomplish? Why is God going to renew the heavens and the earth, separate the sheep from the goats, and make all things new? And why does the Bible’s vision of the end so closely resemble the beginning in Eden? 

Because God is restoring what was broken. He is making all things new—redeeming His creation, once declared “very good,” and bringing it into a state of righteousness. A place where His people will live with hearts fully open to love and be loved by Him.

This is a “How to Study Your Bible 101” class. It’s not just about what the Bible says, but how you can discover it for yourself. We’ll introduce you to the inductive Bible study method, a powerful tool for careful, observation-based interpretation. For those new to Bible study, this class will give you the practical skills to read, interpret, and apply the Bible correctly to your life. For those with a little more experience with Scripture, this class will sharpen your tools.

 

Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Impact, Part 2 – Angie Nordhorn- Room B-303

Ordinary women, like you and me, can have an extraordinary impact on others and Christ’s kingdom. By studying the unsung, but not forgotten, ladies in Scripture who left a legacy will encourage any woman who feels plain old ordinary.
